NANO ROBOTS

Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) has led to the deaths of more than 25 million people since it was first recognized in 1981, making it one of the most destructive epidemics in recorded history. Despite recent improved access to antiretroviral treatment and care in many regions, there is no perfect cure for this syndrome. Nano-robots are nano-devices that will be used for maintaining and protecting human body against pathogens. They will have a diameter of around 0.5 to 3 microns Nano-robots, when they are injected in to human body can detect the intrusion of AIDS virus in to a human by means of bio-sensors and hence send the acoustic waves of particular frequency, which are received by the piezoelectric SAW transducer in mobile phones. On detection of these waves from a person, multiplication of HIV can be avoided at the initial stage itself, hence preventing the disease from infecting the person.
